PHOTOGRAPHY

Capturing moments is my passion, so it didn't matter where photography took me- from auto shows, to fashion shows. Once I shot my first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu event in 2016, it was love at first tap. And to understand the subject matter more intimately, I officially began my Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2017. Naturally, my focus has been mostly JJ and related combat sports since. Luckily, I've had the amazing opportunity to shoot the world's largest Jiu-Jitsu events and the world most skilled athletes.

VIDEOGRAPHY

Ever since producing the daily morning show for my high school in the 10th grade, videography has been a big part of my life. I always felt it went hand in hand with still photography. With cameras getting better and better every year, cinema-quality is literally now at our fingertips. This has been a huge inspiration for me to shoot video of Jiu-Jitsu, because I want to show how beautiful it is to the world. There is an excitement to capturing elite humans in their natural habitat doing what they do best, there is a magic that still photography cannot capture. Video is an ever-growing medium, and we are at the tip of the iceberg.

GRAPHIC ART & DESIGN

For as long as I can remember, I have always created art. The mediums may have changed, but the need to create has not. The goal is always the same, simply to capture the perfect representation of the subject. I pride myself in being versitile and well-rounded, but yet having a laser-focus on the task. This may mean educating myself further on the subject matter to be the most informed for the best possible result.

I have many years of experience specializing in Vector Artwork, including but not limited to: Apparel | Packaging | Labels | Stickers | Social Media | Jiu-Jitsu Gear | Logos. I am also well-versed in the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite. As a carpenter isn't only good with just a hammer, they must be expert in all of their tools. One of the most rewarding aspects of doing graphic design is seeing my work on store shelves and knowing that my work is seen by millions of people. It brings me pride, and it gets me excited for the project.
